Description
Join artist Anna Housman for an introductory wheel-throwing class! Learn how to throw small vessels such as bowls and mugs on the pottery wheel.
During this class, you will learn about wedging clay and centering and pulling walls to create vessels. Previous students have made anywhere from 2 to 6 pieces. After the class, you have the option to book a trimming class to learn how to finish your pieces. If you choose not to book the trimming class, Anna will trim and prepare your pieces for glazing (included in this class fee). You will discuss at the end of the class how to glaze and finish your pieces. You will pick up your pieces at a later date, after they are fired in the kiln.

- Location: 305 Williamsboro Street, Oxford, NC (Daisy Chain’s Studio is located inside Sanctum Coffee & Wine Bar)
- Materials: All materials provided
- Clothes: Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting clay on. Short sleeves or sleeves that are easy to roll up are ideal
